This site is newly built and has only recently gone live (November 2011). There are still a few bugs and issues. Here's the list of what we know about. Please click Send Feedback in the footer if you find something else. Or add a comment below.
Joining as a member if you are already a subscriber: this has caused a few people some difficulties. It's not a fault but remember to do the following:
1) Log in as a subscriber.
2) Click Join in the menu bar.
3) Click the green Join Redeye button below the table.
4) Select membership type. Add other info as required.
5) Go to the bottom, fill in the Captcha, and click Confirm Membership.
After the verify screen you should go through to PayPal.
Member areas are still locked, or portfolio is not visible, after joining:
1) Remember to click "Make Details Public" in the "My Details" page of your account.
2) Wait a few minutes - it can take 10 minutes for registration.
3) Please try logging out then back in to your Redeye account.
4) Also try clearing your browser cache (instructions).
Portfolio navigation: clicking on a portfolio image sometimes takes you to a page where the portfolio is wrongly shown as unpublished.
Should now be fixed (16.11.11) but each member will need to go to the "My Details" page of their account and click the "Make Details Public" button.
Portfolio search now fixed (16.11.11)
Exhibition search by region is not working properly. We're working to fix this as soon as possible.
Workaround: please try searching by venue, or go to Search > Advanced Search, enter the city or county, and click the "Exhibition Listing" tick box, then click the "Advanced search" button".
Browser issues:
Safari 5 for Mac: Images on Exhibitions page are sometimes too small
Internet Explorer 6 for Windows: images and forms sometimes display wrong.
