Didsbury Arts Festival Photography Competition

Didsbury Arts Festival will take place Saturday, 26 September to Saturday, 3 October, 2009. Local artists, organisations and people all over Didsbury are invited to support this exciting new event to celebrate the wealth of talent,
diversity and vibrant community that make Didsbury so special.

Local photographers (amateur or professional) are invited to enter the festival
photography competition. To enter you should submit a photograph on the theme
‘Didsbury Life’.

Don McCullin Exhibition Tour

England, created during a period spanning over fifty years.
Colin Harding, Curator of Photographic Technology, worked
closely with Don McCullin on the creation of this exhibition.

work of one of Britain’s greatest photographers.

People's Choice announced

Redeye is delighted to announce the tenth winner of Capture Manchester 2009, the People's Choice, as voted by visitors to CUBE Gallery during the first two weeks of the exhibition.

She is Sandy Gardner, a freelance artist and teacher from Rossendale, with the image The Crown Jewels Of Manchester (see below). She wins £500, plus a free portfolio session with Redeye.
