Everyone has a need to play. We develop this need almost immediately. It is an altered state, a form of concentration that offers the purest of pleasure.

Games were invented to focus this need, to court this pleasure. From the simplest street games, to the most intricate disciplines, they all follow the same principle – to play, to learn, to test, to compete, to enjoy. Football has become the most popular game ever played. What comes with such lasting magnitude is culture and history, a history full of love and inclusion, prejudice and intolerance.
