The Northern Women’s Art Collective is a group of 20 female artists which was founded in October 2014 as a means for supporting and encouraging each other’s creative talents, and as a forum to showcase their work.

The women are all based in the north of England and draw their inspiration from their varying identities and environments. Whilst most are based in Greater Manchester, some are from as far afield as Cumbria and Cheshire.

The exhibition is the collective's first show and features a diverse collection of work in a variety of mediums including ceramics, painting, drawing and photography.

Christelle Vailllant, a Redeye member, is exhibiting her photographic work as  part of the  Northern Women’s Art Collective Spring exhibition.
