In partnership with CFCCA, we are delighted to welcome international award-winning photographer Mandy Barker to present her globally recognised work involving marine plastic debris. Working alongside scientists, Mandy aims to raise awareness about pollution in the world's oceans whilst highlighting the harmful affect on marine life and ultimately ourselves.

Join Redeye for the first in a new series of lectures that will honour the great champion of British photography Pete James, who died in March 2018. A regular lecture in partnership with The Royal Photographic Society, PARC (Photography and the Archive Research Centre), and FORMAT International Photography Festival & QUAD.

Get informal advice on your career and photographic work during 30-minute one-to-one sessions with experts in the industry. At this month's critique, we welcome guest panellists Angela Sheard (Associate Curator and Programme Coordinator of Impressions Gallery, Bradford) and Howard Barlow (freelance photojournalist) alongside Paul Herrmann (Director of Redeye, the Photography Network).

The image of Manchester has been accurately represented visually over the years by the likes of local stalwarts Samuel Coulthurst or Kevin Cummins. In times of political and social flux, a rather more acerbic, satirical identity has been required, and David Dunnico is one of the people to have picked up that baton.

Back for its fifth year, Hull International Photography Festival returns to celebrate the cultural importance of photography in the region. Alongside award-winning visiting and local photographers, there will be a host of other events taking place across the city.

FORM is a new collective of seven artists working with photography and visual arts, based in Manchester, Birmingham, rural Yorkshire, London and Liverpool. New work by each collective member will be shown for the first time from September 29th 2018 at Brighton Photo Fringe. The collective came together as part of Redeye's Lightbox programme. 

Join FORM in the Phoenix, Brighton on Sunday afternoon, 30 Sept, for a panel discussion with members of the collective and Paul Herrmann, director of Redeye.

The AGM is where Redeye reflects on the past year as well as making key decisions for the future.

This is the first chance for you to hear about Redeye's plans for the next year and beyond. New board members will be voted in and you can meet other Redeye members as well as all staff and directors. So come along, have your say and catch up with old friends and new. Drinks and buffet will be provided.

This major new exhibition on tour direct from the National Portrait Gallery brings together the works of four of the most celebrated figures in art photography, Lewis Carroll, Julia Margaret Cameron, Oscar Rejlander, and Clementina Hawarden.
