Print Auction ( www.fy1.org.uk)

Blackpool and the Fylde 3rd year degree fundraising team are pleased to announce their current Print Auction is now online, by kind donation we have prints by Lottie Davies, Clare Strand, David Short and many more along with books from the Richard Avedon foundation, Dinu Li and Stuart Whipps.
The auction is to help us raise funds for our end of year grad shows at Cube, Manchester and AOP Gallery London in June. Also available are prints from this years graduating class, this is your chance to grab a fantastic print at a bargain price .

Mass photo session at New Scotland Yard

Photographers are marking the day that the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 becomes law with a mass photo session outside London's police HQ.
The new law allows for arrest and imprisonment of anyone who takes pictures of officers ‘likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism’.

Wildlife Photography Lecture at Smithills Hall, Bolton

Join accliamed wildlife Photographer Steward Ellet at Smithills Hall on Sunday 28th June 2009 from 1 - 4pm for an informal lecture on his work. Steward will be offering advice on some of the techniques and processes of wild life photography. There is also the opportunity for those attending the talk to show your thier work for a critique by Steward Ellet. Tickets are £10 and there are a maximum of 10 places available. Print Sale at University of Derby

University of Derby's Fine Art Photography BA (Hons) students are organising a print sale in order to raise funds for their graduate exhibition in Derby and at the Free Range Graduate Show at the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London.

There will be a wide variety of artwork on sale from students past and present, as well as established photographic names such as John Blakemore, Peter Finnemore, Edwin Zwakman and many more.

We will also be holding a Silent Auction for some of the prints on display.
