Opportunity to present work at Hothouse Birmingham

We're looking for photographers to present a recent project or body of work in a ten-minute slot at our next Hothouse, our showcase of creative talent and hive of photographic activity and information.

Redeye offers new teaching and learning opportunities in photography

Redeye is very keen to encourage more photographers to work with community groups and to develop their knowledge and abilities in training. We are pleased to have two new opportunities for photographers and photography trainers, as part of a new programme Culture Shifts; an Open Eye Gallery and multi-partner programme exploring photography within socially engaged practice.

The Aesthetica Art Prize

Hosted by Aesthetica Magazine, the Aesthetica Art Prize is a celebration of excellence in art from across the world. It offers both emerging and established artists the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience, and further their engagement with the international art world. The Judging Panel enhances its position in the industry, bringing together specialists from leading cultural institutions.

Bursary for emerging photographers, Rebecca Vassie Trust

The Rebecca Vassie Memorial Award is a £1,200 bursary, plus printing, exhibition and mentorship, for an emerging photographer in or from the UK to complete a narrative photography project with a strong social or political context. The award is created in memory of Rebecca Vassie, a British photographer who died suddenly last year, aged 30, while on assignment in Uganda. Rebecca trained in photography at the University for the Creative Arts.
