Recruiting: Festival Manager, Look13, Liverpool International Photography Festival

Look13, the Liverpool International Photography Festival is delighted to announce that it is planning to recruit a suitable person for the role of its Festival Manager.

The post will be an 11-month freelance contract, commencing in September 2012. The successful applicant will work with our festival team and be responsible for delivering the the event which is scheduled to take place in May 2013.

Artists' Studios for Rent in Clitheroe

Ribble Valley Art Studios are now taking applications from artists for an opportunity to rent studio space in the centre of Clitheroe.

Beverley Chapelhow and Keith Parkinson from The Art of Distraction are opening the premises soon, offering individual lockable studios for approximately eight artists with space to gallery work, hold events and exhibitions and to deliver workshops and classes.

Magnum Professional Practice: Bradford

IdeasTap have 10 heavily subsidised places to give away on Magnum’s next two-day Professional Practice seminar at the National Media Museum, Bradford, on 28 and 29 July.

This opportunity is available to IdeasTap members between the ages of 16 and 25. With an emphasis on providing practical and vocational guidance to emerging photographers, this is an unmissable opportunity to gain tailor-made, impartial advice from specialists at the top of their profession.

IdeasTap Magnum Showcase

Through IdeasTap's new monthly Magnum Showcase, photographers can get their work personally reviewed by a Magnum photographer or senior staff member, and showcased on their website.

The opportunity is open to IdeasTap members, aged 16 to 30.

IdeasTap Photographic Award

There’s less than a week left to apply for The IdeasTap Photographic Award in association with Magnum Photos.

The award offers development opportunities to 12 shortlisted photographers, and the two overall winners each receive £5,000 and a sought-after internship at Magnum.

The award is set into two age brackets 16-22 and 23-30.
