Lightbox Plus

Redeye introduces Lightbox Plus: an intensive week of ideas and training to take your professionalism to the next level, Monday 2 to Friday 6 September. If you are already achieving success as a working photographer, artist or producer, Lightbox Plus has been tailored to help you progress further.

This week-long course in September is the gateway to exploring these issues whilst being able to experience them with peers at a similar stage. We aim to equip you with skills and knowledge to progress individually, but also to thrive within this group – a long-lasting support network for you to give to and take from.

Open call: LOOK Photo Biennial

As part of LOOK Photo Biennial 2019, Chapter 02: TRANSLATE / TRANSITION, Open Eye Gallery are looking for photographic work that relates to ideas of multi-nationality and exchange. Selected artists from this open call will be showing as part of group exhibitions at various non-traditional gallery venues.

Job Opportunity: Freelance Photographer / Creative Practitioner, The Forge

The Forge requires two photographers/artist practitioners experienced in working within educational settings to join the team as part of a new Paul Hamlyn Foundation-funded Teacher Development programme – Teaching Things Differently. This new programme aims to use photography as a medium to support the teaching of reading and writing skills within schools.

Warrington Museum & Art Gallery: Exhibition Proposals

Warrington Museum & Art Gallery (WMAG) invites proposals from artists and groups for its 2020 exhibitions programme. Proposals for exhibitions are welcomed from artists and groups from all disciplines. Please include a budget breakdown in your proposal, including artist fee, materials and any supporting workshops/sessions. WMAG is particularly interested in artists creating a new body of work. If you're proposing work that has previously been shown, please make this clear in your application.
