Redeye Winter Talks 2004-5

Redeye is delighted to announce its new season of lectures this winter by star photographers. NB The talk in Blackburn on 21 Jan 05 by Jananne Al-Ani is cancelled. Her Manchester talk will still go ahead as planned.Download the pdf (below) for more details and a booking form.Here's the line-up:
Kevin Cummins, the well-known NME music photographer, born in Manchester and formerly of City Life (12 Nov 2004).
Peter Kennard, the internationally respected political photo-montage artist (18 and 19 Nov). Link to his website.

Naglaa Walker has just been named as one of ten 'faces of the future' by Art Review (25 Nov). See Dewi Lewis website.
Roy Mehta combines high level commercial photography with stirring personal work (3 Dec, Chinese Arts Centre). Link to his website.

Michael Steele is an experienced broadsheet sports photographer currently with Getty Images. (9 Dec, Chinese Arts Centre).
Casper Dalhoff, a top Danish photojournalist, is coming in specially, on 13 Jan 2005 (The Lowry). He won a World Press Photo first prize last year. Link to his website.
Jananne Al-Ani, who was born in Iraq, works on the representation of women in the West; she curated the show 'Veil' which toured last year (20 Jan, Chinese Arts Centre).
We finish with Paul Hill, the influential photographer, teacher and writer from Derbyshire, (27 Jan, The Lowry).
