A year after the release of Anglesey Landscapes, published landscape photographer and gallery owner, Glyn Davies from Menai Bridge, Anglesey, has just launched his second volume in the series. Anglesey Landscapes, Volume 2, contains 52 photographic artworks depicting Glyn’s personal responses to the Welsh island of Anglesey, which the artist now sees as home.
The images in this volume are perhaps some of his strongest to date, with a noticeable concentration on the more dramatic, atmospheric and elemental aspects of Anglesey and its weather. With global climate change having an obvious influence over sunlight hours, the powerful images in this book are perhaps a more honest, yet captivating, depiction of Anglesey’s landscapes and seascapes than we have previously been used to.
The book may now be purchased direct from Glyn over the phone on 01248 715511 or using the online SHOP at www.glyndavies.com. An exhibition of almost 40 new limited editions accompanies this new launch at Glyn's Menai Bridge Gallery
