WORKING WITH BUSINESS

INSTANT FILM SUBMISSION

Do you work with instant film, in particular Polaroid? Redeye is supporting “Instant”, an open submission exhibition celebrating the medium of instant format photography, at Touchstones, Rochdale, UK; if accepted you will also have the chance to sell your work. NORTHERN PHOTOGRAPHERS

The director of Redeye, Paul Herrmann, is presenting the work of photographers from Northern England at a conference in February on Images of the North. If your work deals with the idea of Northern England in any way, either in comparison to other areas, in the way you caption the images, or the context in which you show them, or it’s just something you’ve thought or written about, and you’d like to feature at the conference, then he’d be very pleased to hear from you. Please send between one and four images, plus a paragraph explaining your thoughts on this subject (Is there a Northern style or visual character? How does your work reflect it? etc), to redeyesubmissions(at)googlemail.com, with the subject “Northern Images”. Ideally size the images around 1024 x 768 pixels, and put the whole lot in a Zip-compressed folder. By 14th January if possible.
