Solarplate printing has been developed from commercial photopolymer plates and brought into the fine art world. Simple to process and developed in tap water this incredible new process adds great tone, can be printed in any colours and on quality papers that will bring a new life to your prints. This 3 day course will be run at Hot Bed Press on Monday 9th, Tuesday 10th & Wednesday 11th August, (10am - 4pm), and will be taught by Emma Kelly and Sean Rorke.

And brand new to printmaking Hydro-plate etching crosses photo-etching and etching and brings a subtle and tonal range perhaps only surpassed by the ancient art of photogravure and platinum printing. Guest tutor Nick Mobbs, (R.A.) will guide you through this beautiful process and show you how to get great results to amaze your friends, colleagues ... and clients!
