Redeye is very pleased to launch Capture Liverpool in partnership with Look11, the festival in Liverpool in May.

Capture Liverpool is looking for great new photos about Liverpool, and
is offering seven prizes - five of £500, plus two prizes for the under 14s.

Send in a single photographic image that captures Liverpool for you.
We welcome photos of people, the streets, work, change, action, distance,
light, details, fun, encounters, home, public, personal - anything that
builds up a portrait of this great city.
Every image that fits the competition criteria will be exhibited at a special
outdoor exhibition at Liverpool ONE from 27 May to 25 June 2011. A panel
of judges will select all but one of the prize winners, announced at the
launch. There will then be the chance for anyone to vote at the exhibition
for the winner of ‘The People’s Choice Award’.
One entry per person and one image per entry.
Submission deadline noon on 9 May 2011.

hosting
a
week
of
workshops
for
children
aged
up
to
13,
delivered
by
Photomobile
in
the
run-up
to
Easter.
The
workshops
will
teach
children
how
to
capture
the
best
shots,
with
experts
on
hand
to
give
top
tips
and
advice.
The
workshops
will
run
from
11th
to
15th
April
and
the
sessions
will
start
at
13:30,
14:30
and
15:30.
