Redeye's 2017 Annual General Meeting takes place on 27th September 2017 at Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art, Thomas Street, Manchester M4 1EU, from 18:30 to 20:00.
The AGM is where Redeye reflects on the past year as well as making key decisions for the future.
This is the first chance for you to hear about Redeye's plans for the next year and beyond. New board members will be voted in and you can meet other Redeye members as well as all staff and directors. So come along, have your say and catch up with old friends and new. Drinks and buffet will be provided.
NB We are sorry to say that Liz Wewiora has been called away at short notice, and won't be able to give a presentation on socially engaged photography, as previously mentioned. However we will reschedule this for a later date.
Who is it for?
The AGM is open to all paid Redeye members, who can also make formal proposals for resolutions, elect and stand for the board of directors. All members are strongly encouraged to attend. To find out more about becoming a member please click here.
Call for board nominations
Would you like to be on Redeye’s board of directors? The board would like to invite nominations by 14 August 2017 from within the Redeye membership to elect up to two additional board members at the AGM. Board members play an active and critical part in running Redeye. You need to be a current member to be elected, and you need another member to propose you.
For further details, please see the "Call for Nominations" information sheet below in docx and pdf formats.
Proposing resolutions
Members can propose resolutions for the AGM. Full details of how to do that can be found in the Practical Guide for Redeye Members. The deadline for resolutions is 16 August 2017.
