An evening talk from acclaimed photographic artist Susan Derges.
Wot u :-) about? presents a major solo exhibition of entirely new work by acclaimed Scottish artist Rachel Maclean, who will represent Scotland at the 2017 Venice Biennale. Curated by Bren O’Callaghan, Visual Art Programme Manager, HOME, and Sarah Perks, Artistic Director: Visual Art, HOME.
The exhibition brings together a group of works which make things slow down or stop. This could be the subject of the work; things coming to a temporary stop to capture an unexpected moment.
‘Untitled (2:10am)’ is a photo-series by Bankley member Andy Broadey that draws together cinematic, architectural and musical references to examine the relationship between time and change within the post-communist condition.
To mark the close of Andy Broadey's exhibition 'Untitled (2:10am)' he will give a talk about the work at Bankley Gallery.
Redeye member David Gleave will be hosting the launch of his book "In the City" which includes 56 images taken in various cities.
