Foto8 Seminar: On the Concrete at the Format International Photography Festival 1-2 April

On the Concrete will explore the popular genre of Street Photography through its many different expressions, its history and its contemporary forms. With leading practitioners in the field, we will be focusing on street photography in other cultures, outside the Western paradigm, as well as looking at how legal restraints at home and abroad affect how much of public life it is possible to document. We may even be able to work towards a definition of this notoriously hard to define, but perennially relevant, photographic practice.

Photographic Exhibition

Throughout the month of June I will be holding a photographic exhibition at St Lukes church, Hardman street Liverpool. The exhibition is entitled 'Behind Closed Doors'. The main subject of the exhibition will feature the work of members of the funeral service. The aim of this is to cature the rarely seen 'human face' of this private industry.
