Throughout the month of June I will be holding a photographic exhibition at St Lukes church, Hardman street Liverpool. The exhibition is entitled 'Behind Closed Doors'. The main subject of the exhibition will feature the work of members of the funeral service. The aim of this is to cature the rarely seen 'human face' of this private industry.
The exhibition itself will serve to educate, illustrate and demystify the funeral process for many. Crucially,the project has been conducted with respect and dignity: the photographs are a sensitive portrayal of the day to day workings of the industry.
The exhibition is open weekly from Thursday to Sunday.
