Introducing a new website: Photostories

Culture Shifts have announced they will be launching the Photostories website next month. Redeye is working in partenership with Culture Shifts a programme working with 10 international photographers embedded in communities across Merseyside.  

National Media Museum appoints new Curator of Photography and Photographic Technology

Dr Geoffrey Belknap, a historian of photography, visual culture and Victorian science, has been appointed Curator of Photography and Photographic Technology at the National Media Museum.

Call for papers at symposium on photo studio archives

Under the Dark Cloth: Working with photography studio archives symposium are calling for papers which deal with all forms of studio archives and which describe and discuss the planning, funding, organisation and outcomes of archive projects.

Introducing Culture Shifts - A touring network for process-led photography work

Redeye, the Photography Network will be working in partnership with Open Eye Gallery to deliver Culture Shifts, a new and exciting socially engaged photography programme. Working with 10 national and international photographers embedded in communities across 7 areas of Liverpool City Region it aims to support communities to explore their stories in a way that is meaningful to them.  

Announcing Field Editions: A new print sales initiative in collaboration with Impressions Gallery and Open Eye Gallery

Redeye joins Impressions Gallery and Open Eye Gallery on fieldeditions.org, a new contemporary photography consortium, working with photographers to produce benefit limited edition photographic prints in support of Northern photography.
