Format Events on Professional Survival

Format, Derby’s international photography festival, is hosting two professional practice events on the 14th and 15th November.
Panel Discussion 14th November 6pm: A panel of curators, photographers and photography agencies has been gathered to talk about their work and share their knowledge of the image-making world from commercial to contemporary art. This insight will be invaluable to practitioners at all stages of their careers. The panel includes:

Pavilion Commissions Programme 2008 - Submission Call

Pavilion is offering four emerging photographers the opportunity to develop a new body of work for exhibition at the National Media Museum, Bradford.

Submissions are open to all emerging UK-based photographers who have been active in establishing and profiling their practice.

The selection panel members are: Stefanie Braun (The Photographers' Gallery), Clare Grafik (The Photographers' Gallery), Ruth Haycock (Pavilion), Greg Hobson (National Media Museum) Max Kandhola (Photographer) and Anna Reid (Pavilion).
