Green wheels photo competition

e-photoframes is hosting a competition themed eco friendly transport. Images which demonstrate originality, humour or technical prowess will be posted on our blog. The winner will be entitled to a superb photo frame from the e-photoframes collection. The competition runs until 30th October 2007

For one night only, greenroom’s performance space plays host to Karen McBride, recognised as one of the most notable female music photographers in Manchester. Karen opens her portfolio and her heart in her first ever city centre exhibition and talks about her work with John Robb, Manchester based musician, journalist and commentator.

The conference is part of the Changing faces: three-year EU Culture 2000 funded photography commission project focused on the theme of WORK and run through the International Photography Research Network (IPRN, www.theiprn.org).

IPRN Margins Conference October 4th-6th 2007

Registration is now open for the 3rd IPRN 'CHANGING FACES' conference in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia in cooperation with the Slovak Academy of Science - Insitute of Art History in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Keynotes for this 3-day event include: Boris Mikhailov, John Darwell, Gilles Perrin and Jindricht Streit.

Registration fees are €160 although special rates for students, groups etc are available.

Portfolio Review 2007 - Month of Photography, Bratislava

We would like to inform you about oncoming November event - the Portfolio Review 2007 (in frame of international photo-festival Month of Photography, Bratislava, Slovakia). We are looking for young talented photographers to give them a possibility to discuss their portfolio with chosen critics at the workshop, to make new contacts with people working in galleries, academies and magazines as well as give them the chance to be awarded as a best participant and to exhibit their works at the next Bratislava Month of Photography 2008.
