'FLAT-SCAPES'

Troubadour Gallery, Beech Road, Chorlton
15th May to 15th June 2009

‘FLAT-SCAPES’ is a body of work consisting of simple images questioning the normal rules of Landscapes. The third dimension of depth has been eliminated and indeed there are no shadows. The images have detail though the colours are bland. There is nothing to excite the imagination only to absorb an image into one’s thoughts. All the images are connected within a common ‘space’ on a patch of a sandy beach.
