Redeye is working with a range of photography organisations (see below) to develop a new specialist network, with an aim of encouraging knowledge sharing between professionals working with photography. We need your thoughts!

If you work in any of the following areas of photography, or any area of practice or policy that isn't really dealt with by another organisation, we would love to hear what you think:

- collections
- curating
- conservation
- history
- archives
- museums
- libraries
- research
- scholarship
- teaching
- criticism and writing

The new network could cover any or all of these areas, or more. It could provide information, networking and events, with a focus on physical events or online information. What you tell us will help us shape it to be as useful as possible.

Here's the survey link. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/photospecialists

There's also the opportunity in the survey to leave your email address for more info. Please complete it by 3rd March. We should be able to circulate further info about this in May 2015.

The organisations involved so far are: Redeye, National Media Museum, Library of Birmingham, Royal Photographic Society, University of Brighton, with support from Arts Council England.
