Redeye has teamed up with Spectrum Photographic to offer one member up to five hours with their master printer at their Brighton store, and up to £750 worth of top quality photographic prints.

Redeye is interested in receiving applications from members with a full project or body of work with a plan to exhibit in the next six months.

We strongly suggest Photomonth for the exhibition, but are happy to take submissions for exhibitions elsewhere. The exhibition must be open to the public.  

Spectrum will:

  • Offer up to 5 x hours of Mastering with their Master Printer, Paul
  • Give the member up to £750 + VAT worth of free printing

Redeye will:

  • Support the photographer in the approach to Photomonth or alternative exhibition output
  • Offer free advice on the display of the work
  • Promote the exhibition through our networks

The member will be responsible for:

  • The application to Photomonth, or the arrangement of an alternative exhibition
  • Securing the venue and all related exhibition costs 

How to enter:

Applicants must be Redeye members.

Applicants should send six images, which make up a body of work or individual project. The images should be the images the applicant intends to show at Photomonth London 2016 or alternative exhibition. The images should be accompanied by a paragraph explaining your exhibition plan; where you will exhibit and when, and a summary of experience to date, and any words supporting the images.  The word limit for this combined text is 500.

Ts&Cs

Applications must be digital. No paper applications or physical prints will be accepted.
The competition is for paid Redeye members only. Membership must be active at the time of applying and during the mentoring session.
The applicant will be responsible for securing the space at Photomonth or alternative exhibition output.
Redeye and Spectrum are not responsible for organising the exhibition.
The applicant will be responsible for providing high-resolution images for printing.
The exhibition will include a ‘Sponsored by Spectrum’ small panel with the Spectrum logo on.
Spectrum’s company logo, the Arts Council logo and the Redeye logo will appear on all publicity material, including exhibition flyers & information boards within the exhibition etc.
One image from the exhibition will be kept on file at Spectrum for use on the Spectrum website and in possible future marketing campaigns.
Spectrum have the permission to take mages of the exhibition when it has been installed (gallery empty) and of the opening night. These will be retained for use the on the website and possible further marketing literature.
All entrees must own the copyright to the submitted images.
