The film Somewhere to Disappear stars Alec Soth, whose exhibition of photographs Gathered Leaves is showing at the National Media Museum until 26 June. This screening is hosted by Redeye's Paul Herrmann and includes a Q&A with special guests including the associate curator of Gathered Leaves, Tim Clark, and photographer and writer Aaron Schuman.

Hothouse returns to Manchester for a daylong event of photographic presentations.

This Manchester After Hours, join Redeye and The Grid Project, to create a photographic map of the city. Get involved at #MAHGRID16

Ever had that overwhelming feeling of social anxiety when the word 'networking' is muttered? Ever avoided walking up to a person and introducing yourself as a photographer or artist? Then struggled to remember what your work is, never mind coherently talk about it?

If the answer to any of the above is 'yes', 'maybe' or 'please stop talking about networking', join us on the 17th February for our anti-networking event at Kosmonaut Manchester.

Landscape Photography Now

21 November 2015, 13:00 to 16:00

An afternoon of landscape and nature photography at Kendal Mountain Festival. Including an open call for selected photographers to talk about their work for 10 minutes.

Hothouse is on the road again – this time arriving at Tullie House in Carlisle. Redeye is partnering up with Carlisle Photo festival to bring you a day of presentations from the region’s most promising new creative talent, alongside a hub of photographic activity.

Many of you will know that Redeye recently converted to becoming a Community Benefit Society (or Bencom). This is our first members' general meeting as a Bencom. It takes place from 17:30 to 19:00 on 20 July 2015 at Redeye. All Redeye members are welcome. Members can pre-register here or just turn up on the night. Make sure your membership is up to date on the day.

Join us at Open Eye Gallery to share and talk for a minute about one photograph that means something to you, and to hear others share theirs.
