About
For our latest meet up Redeye are crossing the Pennines, to work with our friends at LensThink Yorkshire and Miniclick. The night will be a shrove Tuesday Unholy Union; a network collaboration of North West, North East and South. We'll be co-hosting an evening of networking in the heart of Leeds so join us for a drink, have a chat and share your work and thoughts with other like-minded photographers. LensThink Yorkshire is a bimonthly social in Yorkshire that digitally promote projects, exhibitions and events in the region. Miniclick was originally formed in Brighton, now in Leeds, London and Brighton - a photography organisation that curates free talks, discussions and exhibitions and publishes affordable photography books.

Who is it for?
This event is for photographers, artists or anyone working in a connected field, looking to meet new people, practise talking about their work and gain new professional connections. It's open to photographers and artists at every level and is highly recommended for experienced and non-experienced networkers alike.

Shrove Tuesday peer reviews offer the chance for creatives in the area to connect. The word ‘shrove’ is the past tense of ‘shrive’, meaning to hear a confession, impose a penance or give absolution. Shrove-tide was a week of confession and merriment before Lent. Come along to Leeds, put your work out there, confess your photography sins, and get some feedback.

There will be three different tables for the reviews. On entry you will get your drinks voucher and table number. The reviews aren’t compulsory so you can come and just network if you like. This is a chance to talk about who you are, talk a little bit about your work, learn about someone else’s work and find out about all the creatives you didn’t know existed in the area.

What to bring?

Please feel free to bring some of your work - either digitally on a laptop or in prints. We encourage people to mention collaborations, bring business cards, postcards, or whatever you feel best helps you explain your work and who you are. This is a chance to present your work in an intimate and friendly space with creatives, artists and Photographers in the Yorkshire area.
